Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Richmond County, New York. The role involves write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
