You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Day-to-day duties: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
