Urgent requirement: baker (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Ventura County, California. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
