Overlocker operator • Wiltshire, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Wiltshire, England. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £2,650 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
