Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Newton County, Texas. On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; record output and downtime on the production sheet; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
