Warehouse operative — Sangamon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a warehouse operative in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will work at a builders' merchant yard. Your main tasks: • Scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS • Load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck • Pack items into cartons and seal them with tape • Weigh and measure parcels for courier collection • Operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets • Carry out cycle counts and full stock takes Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Able to stand and walk for long shifts on your feet At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
