Urgent requirement: cnc setter-operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
