Glass cutter — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass cutter in Marshall County, Oklahoma. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. Day-to-day duties: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Requirements: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
