Track-type tractor operator — Owen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Owen County, Indiana. You will work on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
