Immediate opening: lift erector (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift erector in Twiggs County, Georgia. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
