Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in DeKalb County, Georgia. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience.
