Groundsman — Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Lincoln County, West Virginia. You will be based in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $8,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
