Restoration bricklayer — Gloucester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Gloucester County, New Jersey. You will work on a commercial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel.
