Panel welder wanted in Floyd County

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Floyd County, Iowa. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
