Safety inspector • Oneida County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Oneida County, New York. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
