Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Bailey County, Texas. The job is at a garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 2+ years on the tools preferred.
