Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Wheeler County, Texas. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 5+ years on the tools preferred.
