HSE supervisor — Scotland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Scotland County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
