Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Salem County, New Jersey. You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
