Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Maricopa County, Arizona. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Rotating shifts.
