Pipe lagger — Appomattox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Appomattox County, Virginia. You should have: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Willing to travel between sites On a typical shift you will fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
