Tile setter — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile setter in Calhoun County, Alabama. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Your main tasks: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits 2+ years on the tools preferred.
