GMAW welder wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Franklin County, Ohio. You will work on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time with occasional weekends.
