Single needle operator — Holt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Holt County, Nebraska. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
