Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Meals and transport allowance provided.
