Immediate opening: steam press operator (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in McLean County, Kentucky. Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 4+ years on the tools preferred.
