Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will work at a busy bakery. On a typical shift you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
