Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Full-time with occasional weekends.
