Tig welder — Metcalfe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
