Electrostatic spray painter — Ulster County

Join our team: we are hiring an electrostatic spray painter in Ulster County, New York. You will work at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will degrease and clean metal parts before coating; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness. Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
