Day-to-day duties: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
