Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Bates County, Missouri. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
