Restoration bricklayer — Cherry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Cherry County, Nebraska. The job is on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
