Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Deschutes County, Oregon. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience.
