Bricklayer — Collin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Collin County, Texas. You will be based at a residential building site. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
