Sand plant operator — Dambatta

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Dambatta, Kano State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
