Argon welder — Derbyshire

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Derbyshire, England. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
