Structural MIG welder • St. Clair County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in St. Clair County, Missouri. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 5+ years on the tools preferred. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
