Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
