Brickwork mason — Lamar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Lamar County, Georgia. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
