Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
