Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Giles County, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
