CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Morgan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Morgan County, Tennessee. The job is in a toolroom. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
