Fabricator-welder — Tarauni

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tarauni, Kano State. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
