Banksman — Ness County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Ness County, Kansas. You will be based on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
