Lifting rigger • Cook County, Minnesota

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Cook County, Minnesota. You will be based at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
