Restoration bricklayer — Marion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Marion County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
