Formwork carpenter — Ida County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Ida County, Iowa. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. On the job you will handle: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Ideal candidate: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
