Presser wanted in Nacogdoches County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Nacogdoches County, Texas. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Meals and transport allowance provided.
