Site carpenter — Haskell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Haskell County, Kansas. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
